Bituthene® is a self-adhesive bitumen coated polypropylene woven geotextile. It combines a geotextile reinforcing layer and bitumen mastic to form an even surface for the laying of hot asphalt.
Invented in 1965, Bituthene® has been used extensively in major projects in Australia and around the world.
