Drainmat™ Structural Drainage System
Protect waterproof membranes from backfill damage
Drainmat™ is a multi-purpose geosynthetic drainage system that protects waterproofing membranes from damage caused by backfill materials. Drainmat™ is very easy and cost-effective to install with simple overlapping requirements and vertical fixing details.
Drainmat™ consists of:
- A core layer made from heavy-duty polypropylene fibres which allow the free flow of water in all directions under compressive loads.
- A filtration layer made from a polyester/polypropylene fibre geotextiles that prevents the migration of water-borne soil particles into the core layer.
